ไทยGo Study Thailand brought Thai higher education opportunities to Kazakhstan through Nurorda Connect and an education roadshow across Astana and Almaty. The delegation included the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM), Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Engineering at Sriracha, and Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC).
The programme combined participation in Nurorda Connect on 18 April with school visits, student consultations, and meetings with counsellors and education agents. Activities included engagement with Canadian International School Astana, Zerdeli International School, NURORDA School-Lyceum, Baiterek School, and Nurorda School Almaty, alongside the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana and local industry partners.
The roadshow generated more than 300 prospective-student leads and identified interest in fields including engineering, IT and AI, hospitality, and business.
The event has main objectives:
- Introduce Thai universities and international study pathways to Kazakhstan.
- Help students explore programmes matching their interests and career goals.
- Build relationships with schools, counsellors, and education agents.
- Develop opportunities for student recruitment and academic cooperation.
