Kasetsart University (KU) was established as the first agricultural university committed to creating and developing human resources and to become an important force in agricultural development. Despite its origin and specialized area, for nearly 100 years, KU has progressed to become a research university in the nation, prioritizing the integration of research and scholarly work across multiple academic areas (i.e. agricultural science, science and technology, social sciences and humanities). Our academic and research excellence and achievements are evident in a wide range of internationally-recognized research and innovations, and notable alumni that we have produced across all sectors.
Kasetsart University actively promotes openness to international mobility. The university offers attractive factors such as close proximity to international airports, superior facilities and services, modern laboratories on campus, as well as tourist attractions and a friendly atmosphere at research stations throughout the country. Promotion of such international collaboration has been a positive factor for the academic activities of the university. Interaction between Kasetsart faculty members and students with personnel of the international agencies broadens the participants’ intellectual horizons and connects students with pertinent ongoing research and KU exchange programs worldwide.
