Course and Programs

Thammasat University Announcement Scholarship for Degree-Seeking Foreign Students. 

Qualifications

(1) Non-Thai citizen.

(2) Newly enrolled student in the academic year. 

(3)Either subject to tuition and all fees waiver or receiving tuition scholarships from an external source. 

(4) Not receiving accommodation and daily expenses from other departments, inside and outside Thammasat University.

Application and Consideration Process

(1) The applicant submits the application at his/her affiliated Faculty/College/Institute.

(2) The affiliated Faculty/College/Institute considers the applicant’s qualifications and rank the applicants, then sends to the Foreign Student Scholarship Committee (through OIA). 

(3)The Foreign Student Scholarship Committee select and announce the successful  applicants.

Scholarship Coverage

Accommodation and daily expenses of no more than 10,000 THB per month.

Note : The grantee is not eligible for the scholarship during his/her study/research abroad for 1 month or more.

Scholarship Period

No longer than the period of degree study as specified in the curriculum.

Scholarship Contract

The grantee must enter into a scholarship contract with the university prior to receiving the first installment of the scholarship.

Duties of the Grantee

(1) Behave in accordance with the university’s rules and regulations.

(2) Have a good academic record as deemed appropriate by the affiliated Faculty / College / Institute.

(3) Not behave in a manner that damages the university’s reputation.

(4) No abandonment of his/her education without any understandable reason.

(5) Work for the university or his/her affiliated Faculty / College / Institute of 40 hours per year.
