EnglishGo Study Thailand organised a five-day familiarisation trip for 10 school counsellors and education representatives from Kazakhstan, India, Nepal, and Vietnam. The programme gave overseas partners firsthand experience of Thai institutions, learning facilities, and opportunities available to international students.
Visits and activities involved the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM), Assumption University, AIT Thailand, Panyapiwat Institute of Management, Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Engineering at Sriracha, and GISTDA. Delegates joined campus and facility tours, programme presentations, academic discussions, and activities introducing Thailand’s industry and innovation environment.
Cultural experiences, including a Chao Phraya dinner cruise, complemented the academic programme. The trip established direct contacts between delegates and host institutions and encouraged discussions about future recruitment and cooperation.
The event has main objectives:
- Equip overseas partners with firsthand knowledge of studying in Thailand.
- Strengthen relationships with Thai institutions and programme representatives.
- Support better-informed student counselling and referrals.
- Explore future cooperation in recruitment, study visits, and academic exchange.
